Article Writing: The Fastest and Quickest Way to Write SEO Articles

Expressing ideas or thoughts using the written words is known as article writing. If you want to attract more targeted traffic to your website and become known as an expert in your industry, start writing and publishing articles in your niche.

"Content is King" -- always quality and fresh content on your website will bring in more search engine spider activity and also appeals to your visitors.

In order to write high quality SEO-ready articles, there are just 2 basic rules:

#1. Write using simple, easy-to-understand language.

Unless your topic is related to some obscure scientific or mathematical audience, write your articles using simple words and shorter sentences. Write in such a way that your articles can be easily understood by a 5th grade student. Look at frequent magazine writers. Their articles are easily understood by a wide range of readers.

Make your sentences shorter and break lengthy matter into shorter paragraphs. Add a lot of white space so that your copy looks neat and doesn't strain the readers' eyes.

Substitute shorter, more meaningful and 'every-day' words for complicated ones. However, if you are writing to technical or scientific readers feel free to use their lingo. It makes you look professional and exudes your expertise in the subject matter.

#2. Write in an interesting and entertaining way

Always write useful articles. Make sure you have organized your ideas and present them in an interesting way. Dramatize if required. Tell a story in your article. People love to read stories and if you can drive home your ideas using a neat, short story, you've done it. Do not try to stuff your article with too many ideas or too much information.

Break up lengthy articles into different parts. For example, you can break up a 10-point article into 2 articles, part A and part B. When someone reads the Part A of your article and wants additional information, they will go ahead and read the second part.

Pay attention to the starting and ending paragraphs. The starting para should "pull-in" the readers to read the rest of your article. The concluding paragraphs must make the reader to take some action. What do you want your readers to do next? Figure this out and add a compelling "call to action" to your last paragraph (or the resource box).

Here's a step-by-step guide to write your first article:

Step 1: In the first paragraph, introduce the subject and tell the readers what they can expect to learn in your article. Use simple words and 2-3 sentences.

Step 2: Make 2 or 3 points you want to convey to your readers. For each point, write 2 or 3 sentences. Again, keep it simple.

Step 3: Write the concluding paragraph and do not forget to add a compelling "call to action". Tell your readers what exactly they have to do next. Do you want them to call a phone number? visit your website? fill a form? click a link?... tell them.

Just follow the simple 3-step formula and start writing your articles. You will get better with regular practice. In order to make your article "SEO ready" add suitable key phrases throughout your article. Don't go overboard with this. Add your keyword in 2-3 places for each article. Also, focus and write your article for one keyword at a time. Go ahead and start writing!
